Launch announcement
Line item moderation is expanding to IN, SE, AE, NL
22 May 2024
What’s launched?
We are launching line item enforcement to additional countries including India, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and Netherlands. Line item enforcement is a feature that checks the line item settings a creative is attached to and brings any line Item setting non-approvals to the creative-line association as opposed to the entire creative. This allows the creative to continue to run where there are no violations. These checks include audience segments, day parting, country targeting and onsite placements where applicable.
Advertiser or entity-level creatives tab: Creative statuses will continue to display in the “Creatives” tabs, but a new “Approved with exceptions” will display when there is a combination of Approved and Not Approved line item association statuses.
Create Creative
Line item status on creative settings: The “Line items” tab within the creative will display each association status of the line items it is attached to. This will be Approved or Not approved. The yellow triangle will display the reason and details when hovered over.

Line item
Why is it important?
Advertisers can leverage this feature to pinpoint which line item needs to be adjusted to meet policy requirements. This feature reduces confusion around which line item is affecting the creative and unblocks the creative from running on the line items that do meet the policy.
Where is the feature available?
- North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
- South America: Brazil
- Europe: Germany, Spain, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Sweden
- Middle East: United Arab Emirates
- Asia Pacific: Australia, India
Who can use it?
- This feature can be used by all Amazon DSP self-service advertisers in the markets it is already live in. After this launch, it can also be used by advertisers in India, Sweden, UAE and the Netherlands.
