Sponsored Display launches custom bid optimizations

What launched?

We’ve added additional bidding controls for Sponsored Display campaigns in CA, DE, FR, ES, IT, JP, the UAE, the UK and the US. You can now select “Maximize Page Visits” or “Maximize Conversions” and your campaigns will be optimized to help drive page visits or conversions.

Why is it important?

Custom bid optimizations allows you to select bid optimizations based on campaign needs and helps you evaluate performance based on clicks or conversions. This means you can complement your targeting selection and creative customization with appropriate bid optimizations to meet your needs. You now have more controls over your campaigns and are no longer restricted by pre-defined bid optimizations. All existing campaigns will default to “Maximize Page Visits”. These new flexible controls enable you to help you more effectively introduce new products, drive traffic, and engage new or existing shoppers.
