Responsive eCommerce creative now supports customer reviews

What launched?
The Responsive eCommerce creative (REC) template now allows advertisers to add customer reviews in their ad copy. Advertisers can highlight customer reviews in the creative by providing both the customer review content and link. Customer reviews are available in 8 creative sizes (not available in 245x250, 350s420, or 650x130 to ensure readability) and can include up to 116 characters of text.
Why is it important?
Customer reviews can help shoppers decide if a product is right for them. Adding customer reviews to ad creatives can share more information the product, which improves customer trust. From recently published creative insights (Amazon DSP Help Center, access required to view), Ad creatives with customer reviews typically receive higher ad engagement and product detail page visitations.
Customer review capacity is a further improvement we’ve made to REC. REC now supports the full suite of custom design elements, including logo, background image, product name, and customer reviews. Comparing to fixed-size dynamic ecommerce ads, REC brings advertisers greater efficiency.
