Responsive eCommerce Creative supports custom images and product titles

What launched?

We’ve expanded Responsive eCommerce Creative (REC) customization features so advertisers can add their own images to supported placements and can edit the product title in the ad copy for clarity and brevity. These features are available to all advertisers worldwide.

Why is it important?

REC provides by default auto-generated images and ad product titles pulled directly from the product detail page. By using these new features, advertisers can adapt their messaging and advertising look and feel to the specific needs of their campaigns. For example, advertisers can add an image that focus on a specific product feature, i.e. a cellphone’s screen, and edit the title to be shorter and more concise than the one featured on the product detail page, i.e. replacing "Brand Men's Water Sandal, Lightweight and Sporty Sandals for Men, White/Yellow/Green" with "Brand Men's Water Sandal".
