We’re thrilled to announce that the Partner Awards have returned – a program that honors, and celebrates the bold and creative work that partners continue to deliver for their clients. Recognizing visionary campaigns, the awards highlights Amazon Ads partners’ tactical and technological acumen across our suite of Amazon Ads products.

This year’s Amazon Ads Partner Awards recognizes Partner Network verified or advanced partners who brought creativity, innovation, and excellence to their clients’ advertising campaigns that ran in the UK and the US between May, 2021 – April, 2022.

Congratulations to all of our finalists for the outstanding campaigns that they launched for their advertisers in the UK and US! Our 2022 Partner Award winners will be announced in October, 2022.

This award will recognize a partner who utilized the suite of Amazon Ads brand building products to tell an engaging brand story for their client, helping to accelerate their brand growth through awareness and recall.

With a nod towards innovation and thought leadership, this award focuses on how a partner dove deep to understand the unique needs of their client’s brand and provide high value experiences to help brands deliver their voice to customers, make authentic and meaningful connections.

Performance Growth Award

Performance Growth Award

This award will recognize a partner who leveraged Amazon Ads products to create an omnichannel strategy to reach and engage customers across the customer journey and deliver substantial performance growth for their client

Connecting products to shoppers is increasingly challenging in this omnichannel world.

This award will recognize an Amazon Ads partner who established an innovative strategy that demonstrates their expertise in accelerating performance growth on Amazon for their client’s brand. Successful applications will demonstrate how the partner leverages Amazon Ads products to create an omnichannel strategy to reach and engage customers across all key phases of the customer journey — from branding, to purchase and customer loyalty.
We’re looking for partners who have maximized Amazon’s ad solutions to drive an increase in client sales and measurable business growth for their client in the UK or the US.

Scaled Technology Award

Scaled Technology Award

This award will recognize a partner who leveraged the Amazon Ads API to develop a technology application that enabled their client to grow into a global brand by expanding to new regions over the past year.

The Amazon Advertising API can help drive growth in customer solutions.

This award will recognize a partner who is integrated with the Amazon Ads API, has built a game-changing technology application, and has enabled their client to succeed by growing, acquiring, and retaining new customers. We’re looking for partners whose application created efficiencies that helped their client scale quickly across new geographies. Additionally, we want to know how the application helped drive customer acquisition and retention, and increased revenue for the client in the UK or the US.

Innovation Award

This award will recognize a partner who created a new and innovative feature or service that solved a client need, helping to drive results for their client on Amazon.

Big ideas and innovations drive growth.

Amazon Ads partners are trailblazers, pioneers and creators. This award will recognize the innovative feature or service that was developed and launched by a partner, which solves a client need and drives measurable results for the client’s advertising business. This can come in the form of a new client-facing tool or service, or it can be the result of a partner identifying new ways to help drive advertising results for their client on Amazon.

    2022 Partner Awards Winners

    Winners will be announced at the Partner Awards ceremony on Monday, October 24th in New York City. All finalists of the 2022 Partner Awards will be invited to attend the awards gala and enjoy an evening of celebration, networking and fun. Each finalist will also receive a set of tickets to attend the Amazon Ads 2022 unBoxed event that will take place in NYC October 25th – 27th.

    What does it mean to win an award?

    These awards are more than a mere pat on the back. They represent a space for partners to tell their latest success story, and a way for Amazon Ads to highlight the exceptional work that partners have created for their advertiser clients and for Amazon customers.

    When was the application period for the 2022 Partner Awards?
    • May 20, 2022 – June 30, 2022
    What were the criteria to enter?
    • The partner company must have achieved advanced or verified partner status by Amazon Ads to enter for the partner awards.
    • Within the Partner Network, the partner’s company must be linked to the advertiser featured in the case study example.
    • If applying for the UK awards, the submission(s) demonstrated a client campaign that drove impact for the client advertising in the UK over a year (from May 2021 – to April 2022).
    • If applying for the US awards, the submission(s) demonstrated a client campaign that drove impact for the client advertising in the US over a year (from May 2021 – to April 2022).
    • The client may be a vendor, seller, or a non-endemic advertiser, and can be based anywhere in the world. However, they must be advertising in the applicable country (either the UK or the US) to be considered for an award.
    • Submit an application that demonstrated a successful campaign delivered in either the United States or the United Kingdom.
    • Agree to the terms and conditions of the program terms and conditions.
    What was the judging process?

    The judging process followed a two-step procedure: First, our preliminary round of judges consisting of Kantar and IAB employees read and pre-scored all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. All judges’ pre-scores were combined, and the highest scoring entries will advance to our executive judging panel. Second, our executive judging panel consisting of Amazon-selected judges, will review, score, and discuss entries to determine finalists and winners.

    How were the applications judged?

    Every Amazon Ads partner who entered the awards was judged purely on the contents of their entry files and graded against other submissions within the same award category and country. Judges utilized the criteria below to score entries. The list below is not a hierarchical list, and the judging panel may attribute a different weight to each criteria.

    • Quality of entry: was the entry clear, descriptive and informative?
    • Level of difficulty of the challenge or problem that the entrant solved for
    • Innovation in the entrant’s advertising approach
    • How the approach demonstrates excellence with Amazon Ads products
    • Results delivered base on the client’s objectives
    • Customer obsession and overall business impact
    What do the finalists receive?

    In addition to being spotlighted through Amazon Ads marketing channels, finalists may receive a physical finalist trophy, a digital trophy, and a set of marketing guidelines on how to refer to themselves as a 2022 finalist in their own marketing channels. Finalists may also be considered for additional Amazon Ads marketing opportunities throughout the year.

    How will you announce the winners?

    The 2022 winners will be announced in October, 2022 at Amazon Ads annual unBoxed event and on the Amazon Ads blog.

    What do the winners receive?

    In addition to being spotlighted through Amazon Ads marketing channels, award winners may receive a physical trophy and a promotional package that includes a 2022 digital trophy along with marketing guidelines on how to share in their own marketing channels. Winners may also be considered for additional Amazon Ads marketing opportunities throughout the year, including an Amazon-hosted video interview promoted through Amazon Ads marketing channels.

    Are the Partner Awards a one-off initiative?
