Amazon Advertising Partner Awards Terms and Conditions
Participation. These Amazon Advertising Partner Awards Terms and Conditions (“Award Terms”) govern your participation in the Amazon Advertising Partner Awards (the “Awards”) and are an agreement between: (i) Amazon Advertising LLC and any of its applicable affiliates (“Amazon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”); and (ii) you and the entity you represent (“you”). These Award Terms take effect when you submit your application via https://advertising.amazon.com/partner-awards (collectively your application, together with any other content submitted to us in connection with the Awards, the “Entry”). The Entry does not create any association between Amazon and any individual, entity, product, or service.
Entry. By submitting your application, you represent to us that: (i) you are lawfully able to enter into contracts (e.g., you are not a minor), and if you are entering into these Award Terms on behalf of an entity, such as the company you work for, you represent to us that you have legal authority to bind that entity; and (ii) the Entry: (1) complies with the policies, user guide, and other information we make available to you about the Awards including through our homepage (“Awards Policies”), these Award Terms, the Amazon Advertising Partner Network Terms and Conditions, our Marketing Guidelines, and the Amazon Advertising API License Agreement; and (2) does not violate any third-party rights including without limitation copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights. We may disqualify any Entry for any reason.
Commitments. By applying, you agree: (i) to indemnify us against all loss, damage and liabilities arising from your breach of these Award Terms; (ii) we may from time to time in our sole discretion modify these Award Terms, or change or discontinue the Awards or Awards Benefits in whole or in part, by publicly posting a notice on our website, which you acknowledge is sufficient notice; (iii) to participate and cooperate in any media or advertising relating to the Awards including as applicable any interviews, photography, filming, social media, and other promotions, agreeing we have a worldwide royalty free perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, edit, and adapt your Entry, in whole or in part, in any language, in our sole discretion, for such purposes, including any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any moral rights in your Entry; and (iv) to our Privacy Notice and that details from your Entry (which we will keep for a reasonable period of time after the end date of the Awards) will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting the Awards, which may include disclosure of your personal information to third parties that operate outside of the UK, including but not limited to agents, contractors, and service providers for the purpose of processing and conducting the Awards, such as a hosting service provider.
Trophies. Top Awards entrants (“Finalists”), as determined solely by us, may receive the following benefits (“Awards Benefits”): (i) an Amazon Advertising Partner Digital Award trophy (“Award Logo”) and usage license in accordance with this paragraph; and (ii) featured spotlights in Amazon Advertising marketing promotions such as mentions on our blog, Partner Network, newsletters, and on social media. Finalists are not entitled to any compensation or benefits. Awards Benefits are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash, and we may substitute any or all of their elements at any time. Finalists may be granted a revocable (for any reason), non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable limited license, without the right to grant sublicenses, to use the Awards Benefits, conditional upon: (1) compliance with our Trademark Guidelines; and (2) usage of the Awards Benefits will be solely for purposes of advertising that your Entry received an Amazon Advertising Partner Award, such as by linking your Award Logo to an Amazon website or to your specific directory page within the Partner Network.
