First Abu Dhabi (FAB) Bank, the UAE’s largest financial institution, collaborated with Amazon Ads during the holiday period in 2023, including key events such as 11/11 and White Friday, to use the on-box advertising (OBA) solution. OBA enabled the bank to share their message directly to customer doorsteps with fully branded Amazon packages, delivering over 500,000 branded boxes in Q4. This method ensured FAB’s promotional messages were part of the unboxing experience for customers in the UAE.

Furthermore, FAB integrated the tactile advertising moment with a broader full-funnel strategy on Amazon.ae—using Amazon DSP, Hero Gateway, display ads, video ads, and Brand Stores—to ensure consistent visibility throughout the customer’s online shopping journey, enhancing the impact of their message and fostering memorable interactions online.
