Launch announcement
Keeping users informed about the latest service status information with Amazon Ads Status (beta)
10 May 2023
What’s launched?
We are excited to launch Amazon Ads Status (beta), a new offering that provides all advertisers with the latest status information on Amazon Ads services. Advertisers will be able to see the current status of services like campaign creation, campaign management, ad delivery and reporting on sponsored ads and Amazon DSP. Should there be a service interruption, advertisers can see more details for the event, including the description and status updates for that service.
Status as seen on the new page when all services are green, and all status cards are collapsed by default.
Status as seen on new page when there is a disruption in one of the services, example used above shows a scenario in which Sponsored Ads Campaign Creation has an interruption in North and Latin America region.
Status as seen on new page when there is a wider disruption impacting multiple services, example used above shows a wider event in Asia Pacific region. There will be an icon next to the region accompanied by a banner message on top of all the categories.
Why is it important?
In the past, there has not been a dedicated location where advertisers or API integrators could look to get the current status of Amazon Ads services. During any service interruption, advertisers could only get that information after they log in to the advertising console or Amazon DSP. With the introduction of Amazon Ads Status (beta), users can now view the current status of Amazon Ads services and be updated with the latest information during any potential service disruptions, without the need to log in to the advertising console or Amazon DSP.
