AI Image generation (beta) is now available for Sponsored Display campaigns in eight marketplaces

What’s launched?

Amazon Ads expanded AI image generation (beta) to Sponsored Display advertisers in the US, CA, MX and EU5. Formerly only available for Sponsored Brands campaigns, advertisers can now use AI generated images for Sponsored Display campaigns with just one click and use them in their ad campaigns at no additional cost.

Why is it important?

Image generation is designed to remove creative barriers and enable brands to produce lifestyle imagery that can help improve their ads’ performance. Whether you sell in the Amazon store or beyond, you can use image generation in Sponsored Display to improve your reach and engagement across Amazon and thousands of apps and websites. On average, advertisers selling in the US who use Sponsored Display branded creative see a 13.6% higher return on ad spend (ROAS), 31.7% higher conversion rate and 8.4% more new-to-brand sales compared to those using non-custom creative.
