Launch announcement

On June 25, we launched an artificial intelligence (AI) image generation (beta) standalone page within the advertising console enabling advertisers to generate images in different dimensions. Image generation is a free, self-service tool that uses AI to generate enhanced creative images for advertising campaigns. The standalone page, titled “Image generator,” can be found under the “Creative tools” tab within the advertising console. Previously, advertisers were able to use our AI image generation product within the Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaign builders. Now, advertisers are able to generate AI images outside of the campaign building workflow in square (1:1), vertical (9:16 and 4:5), and horizontal (1.9:1 and 3:1) aspect ratios, making this the third AI image generation entry available across the advertising console. The Image generator standalone page is available in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the UK.

The Image generator standalone page enables advertisers to generate images for a variety of popular ad placements/formats. Previously, image generation was only available in Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaign builders. Additionally, by launching a standalone page, advertisers can more easily pre-plan their advertising campaigns throughout the year.
