Launch announcement

AI Image generation now supports editing product scale and position

June 27, 2024

What launched?

We’ve introduced new editing capabilities on the Image generator product and on the image generation widget for Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Posts and Stores campaign builder within the advertising console. This new functionality is available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. With this editing capability, advertisers can now adjust the position and size of a product on an AI-generated image, with minimal changes in the original image background.

Why is it important?

This new product scale and position editing capability provides advertisers with greater creative control. Previously, advertisers could generate AI images, but could not edit the sizing or positioning of the product within the image. With the new functionality, advertisers can now resize and reposition product on AI-generated images with minimal changes to the original background image. This allows for better representation of product sizing and positioning to meet advertising needs.
