Sponsored products ads are now available across retailers (Powered by Amazon Retail Ad Service) to help drive product discovery and sales wherever your products are sold.
You select the retailer and products you want to advertise during the campaign setup, and ads are served within the retailer’s website or app. The advertised products are from the retailer's catalog and do not have to be sold on Amazon. Retailers control how the ads appear, native to their shopping experience. Shoppers complete their purchase on the retail site or app.
Businesses that sell products on a participating retailer can use sponsored products across retailers. Advertisers do not have to sell the product on Amazon to use sponsored products across retailers. You will need an Amazon Ads account to launch a campaign. Learn how to get started.
Your ads will appear within search, browse, or product detail pages on the selected retailer’s website and app where you choose to run a campaign. Sponsored products across retailers requires you to opt into campaigns.
By leveraging sponsored products across retailers, advertisers can reach more potential customers where they sell products beyond Amazon.

Use the same advertising console or APIs where Amazon ads are currently managed, now with the ability to add sponsored products campaigns across retailers. You control the retailers where your ads will appear.
Reporting and measurement are standardized across retailers, including Amazon.
From the All Campaigns page, click “Create campaign.”
Look for the "advertise products across retailers" tile. In the drop down, select a retailer where you sell products and where you want your ads to appear. You are able to add multiple retailers to a single campaign by adding additional ad groups.
Within Campaign Builder, add the products that you want to advertise, which are products from the retailer’s catalog. Search within the product selector, upload your product list, or download the catalog.
Define your targeting, keywords, and bidding strategies. Select auto-targeting to get started quickly.
Choose your settings: Give your campaign a name, define your start and end dates, and input your daily budget.
Launch your campaign.
To get started quickly, use automatic targeting, which will select keywords for your ad based on shopper searches related to your product information.
The search term report can be used to gauge keyword performance.
Optimize your campaigns through manually targeting keywords with specific bids and adding negative keywords to exclude poorly performing ones.
Sponsored products across retailers are available at select U.S.-based retailers.
Sponsored products campaigns have no monthly or upfront fees. You bid the maximum amount that you’re willing to pay when a shopper clicks an ad for your products and set up a daily budget. Learn more about cost per click (CPC) advertising.
Sponsored products across retailers provide reports for campaign delivery and performance metrics which include ad impressions, ad clicks, average cost-per-click, total cost, ad attributed sales (units and sale amount), and return on ad spend (ROAS) with breakdowns by retailer, campaign, ad group, and keyword.
Sponsored Products help you reach Amazon shoppers, where customers click on an ad and the checkout happens on Amazon. Sponsored products across retailers features products sold on integrated retailers, and checkout happens on those retailer’s websites and apps. Sponsored products across retailers requires you to opt into campaigns; you will not be automatically enrolled if you already use Sponsored Products.
Amazon Retail Ad Service is an offering enabling third-party retailers to launch and scale their ads business, starting with sponsored products ads.
