Sponsored products ads are now available across retailers (Powered by Amazon Retail Ad Service) to help drive product discovery and sales wherever your products are sold.

How do sponsored products ads across retailers work?

You select the retailer and products you want to advertise during the campaign setup, and ads are served within the retailer’s website or app. The advertised products are from the retailer's catalog and do not have to be sold on Amazon. Retailers control how the ads appear, native to their shopping experience. Shoppers complete their purchase on the retail site or app.

Who can advertise across retailers?

Businesses that sell products on a participating retailer can use sponsored products across retailers. Advertisers do not have to sell the product on Amazon to use sponsored products across retailers. You will need an Amazon Ads account to launch a campaign. Learn how to get started.

Where can my ads appear?

Your ads will appear within search, browse, or product detail pages on the selected retailer’s website and app where you choose to run a campaign. Sponsored products across retailers requires you to opt into campaigns.

How do I create a campaign?

Register for sponsored ads or sign in to your existing account.

From the All Campaigns page, click “Create campaign.”

Look for the "advertise products across retailers" tile. In the drop down, select a retailer where you sell products and where you want your ads to appear. You are able to add multiple retailers to a single campaign by adding additional ad groups.

Within Campaign Builder, add the products that you want to advertise, which are products from the retailer’s catalog. Search within the product selector, upload your product list, or download the catalog.

Define your targeting, keywords, and bidding strategies. Select auto-targeting to get started quickly.

Choose your settings: Give your campaign a name, define your start and end dates, and input your daily budget.

To get started quickly, use automatic targeting, which will select keywords for your ad based on shopper searches related to your product information.
