Sponsored Display expands to livestreams on Twitch

October 29, 2021

What launched?

We're expanding Sponsored Display on Twitch to help brands better reach audiences throughout the shopping and entertainment journey. In addition to reaching audiences on Twitch's browse tab and directory pages with display ads, brands who use Sponsored Display will now be able to reach Amazon audiences with display ads on Twitch channels, during a creator's livestream, for the first time. These display ads are integrated seamlessly to Twitch livestreams, allowing brands to engage viewers without disrupting the streaming experience.

Why is it important?

Twitch is a video streaming service with a hyper engaged audience of over 30 million average daily visitors, nearly half of which are ages 18 to 34. Now any brand using Sponsored Display audiences in the US, CA, FR, IT, DE, ES, or UK can better help build their brand with new creative experiences and additional opportunities to engage or re-engage hard-to-reach, relevant Twitch audiences during their video viewing experience. This was expanded to include MX, JP, BR, NL and AU on November 17, 2021.
