Sponsored Display launches custom product image creative

What launched?

Sponsored Display has launched custom product image creative in CA, DE, ES, FR, IT, IN, JP, the UAE, the UK, and the US. You can now choose between leveraging an automated image or a custom product image in your Sponsored Display creative. Sponsored Display’s default creative automatically uses product imagery from an advertised product’s detail page and supports a white background. Custom product images allow you to now upload your own product images, including those with non-white background colors, to help convey your brand and product story.

Why is it important?

Custom image creative helps you tell your story to shoppers in your own visual language. This complements Sponsored Display’s targeting and measurement capabilities, which helps you create product awareness or drive traffic to your pages on Amazon with ads that may serve on the Amazon homepage, Amazon product detail pages, or wherever they spend time.
