Sponsored ads consolidated invoice statement download is now global

What launched?
Sponsored ads advertisers can now choose to download invoices from the last 90 days for one country or for all countries in their global sponsored ads account. They can access this new feature from the advertising console on the “Billing” page. To see the new global consolidated statement feature, select “For all countries.” To see only the invoices in the country you’re currently viewing, select “For this country.”
To download the consolidated statement, navigate to “Billing history” > click Download invoice statement (last 90 days).
“Download invoice statement (last 90 days)” button will provide two options (a) to download the consolidated statement for one country and (b) to download the consolidated statement for all countries in the global Sponsored Ads account.

Why is it important?
The global consolidated statement allows you to see all of your invoices, their payment status, and the amount due for each country. With this new feature, you can conveniently see a summary of your worldwide advertising spending in one place. Previously, advertisers needed to switch between countries in the advertising console, download multiple reports, and consolidate them.

Two Amazon Ads APIs are currently in open beta where you can retrieve this same information:

- This API lets you request for a billing statement to be generated, and returns a billing statement ID

- Call this API to check the generation status of your statement. When the statement is ready, the response includes the pre-signed URL where you can download the file. Download URLs are valid for three hours.
