What launched?
We have improved the postal code coverage in Amazon DSP. This enhancement provides better geographic resolution for real time location targeting, which may result in an increased number of distinct postal codes appearing in your location targeting reports. Your targeting settings, budgets, bids, and campaign delivery remain unchanged—this update only affects how real time location is mapped to postal codes in reporting.
Why is it important?
This improvement helps you gain additional insight into where your ads are being delivered at the postal code level. With enhanced coverage, you can better understand your campaign performance across different geographic areas and make more informed decisions about your location targeting strategy. The increase in reporting provides a more accurate view of your audience reach without impacting how your campaigns run or how much you pay.
