Launching the industry standard report

July 21, 2022

What launched?

Amazon Ads collaborated with the Media Rating Council (MRC) and was awarded accreditation for Amazon DSP owned and operated retail properties for measurement of display begin to render (BTR) impressions and clicks (reported Gross and Net of General Invalid Traffic) within desktop, mobile web and mobile in-app environments, as reported within the Industry Standard custom report template (CRT).

Why is it important?

The Industry Standard CRT is an offline report that offers advertisers the option of using breakdowns such as device type, environment type, impression counting methodology and the measurement source. After downloading the report, advertisers have an option to filter for impressions that adhere to MRC's begin to render definition. See here for details. All other reporting outside the Industry Standard CRT and its filters should be considered unaccredited for MRC accreditation purposes.
