Launch announcement
Accelerate authentic reviews with Review Requests
September 29, 2026
What launched?
Review Requests launches in open beta in the United States in late October 2026. This new advertising solution reaches customers who recently purchased your product and invites them to submit a star rating or written review while they are shopping on Amazon. You create and manage campaigns in Amazon Ads Agent using the same bidding and budget controls you use for your other Amazon Ads campaigns.

A customer who recently purchased your product sees a Review Requests ad

Why is it important?
New products need reviews to earn customer trust and drive sales. Growing the number of reviews can take time, and many customers don’t remember to leave a review on their own. Review Requests ads give you another way to reach verified purchasers with native review invites on Amazon's highest-traffic pages at scale. Early test results show that products received three times as many ratings and reviews per week compared to before the test1. And because reviews live on your product detail page, the impact extends to every shopper who visits, not just those who saw your ad. Same authentic reviews customers already leave. Just more, faster.
Where is the feature available?
- North America: United States
Additional marketplaces and Amazon properties are planned for future releases.
Who can use it?
- Registered sellers and vendors with an advertising console account in good standing and no active policy violations. Products are eligible when they have fewer than 1,000 total ratings and reviews. Eligibility is checked when you create your campaign and while your campaign runs. Review Requests for a product pause automatically once it reaches the ratings threshold of 1,000 reviews.
Where do I access it?
- Amazon Ads Agent
- Amazon Ads Unified API
API specific:
Review Requests ad campaigns are an extension of the existing Unified Campaign Management API endpoints.
