In-store conversion signals available in Amazon Marketing Cloud

August 13, 2021

What launched?

Conversion event signals at Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh physical stores are now available in Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).

Why is it important?

Previously, CPG advertisers using AMC were not able to access physical-store purchase events to understand whether their media campaigns are driving offline sales at Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh, or what ads were contributing to those sales.

With Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh physical-store conversion events made available in AMC, CPG advertisers are now able to look at ASIN-level purchase information by store, forming a richer view of how audiences are responding to advertising campaigns, where purchases are made, and what the path to conversion looks like. The new signals can help CPG advertisers measure advertising impact more holistically by taking both online and physical store conversions into consideration, and assess the efficacy of different campaigns and media tactics more accurately.
