What launched?
Following the exciting announcement about Alexa+ our next-generation conversational AI assistant, Amazon is launching Entertainment Ads, a new display advertising format on Echo Show devices that seamlessly integrates sponsored content into entertainment-related voice queries. When customers ask Alexa about entertainment content (e.g., "show me comedy movies"), they'll see organic results alongside a sponsored tile from Prime Video Channel partners, creating a natural discovery experience. Customers can engage with the ads through voice and touch and subscribe to Prime Video Channels directly on their Echo Show devices. Starting at launch, Alexa will be automatically included as an inventory source alongside Fire TV for all new Sponsored Tile line items created through the existing subscription bundle package.
