Assets Based Creative on Alexa

What launched?
Alexa is launching support for standard Asset Based Creative (ABC) ads used by desktop and mobile advertisers. Amazon DSP self-service advertisers using ABC creatives, directing to to any landing page, now have the opportunity to run their display ads on Alexa Home Screen (AHS). This will help drive brand awareness and consideration objectives and provide an opportunity to reach incremental customers on Echo Show devices.

Why is it important?
Buyers can use the standard Assets Based Creatives (ABC) and serve these ads on the Alexa Home Screen (AHS). Alexa is an Amazon inventory type that is already enabled by default on Display Media Type Line items. This gives buyers a frictionless experience of serving an ABC ad to an additional Amazon supply.
