Expand reach to engaged viewers on Amazon Freevee

Announced at unBoxed 2023

What launched?

Amazon Freevee preferred deal (PD) now enables advertisers to buy a fixed CPM, non-guaranteed deal that targets the Amazon Freevee run-of-site (ROS) mid-roll inventory. Advertisers can buy an off-the-shelf deal.

Why is it important?

Unlocks self-service (SS) access to Amazon Freevee: Access to Amazon Freevee standalone inventory has been a consistent request from both managed (MS) and self-service (SS) advertisers. Previously, access to Amazon Freevee was only available to MS advertisers. The Amazon Freevee preferred deal launch unlocks access for SS advertisers.

Enables industry standard buying model for Amazon Freevee: Programmatic deals are an industry standard buying model. Amazon Freevee preferred deal offers advertisers a familiar way to buy Amazon Freevee inventory. This simplifies sales, negotiations, and campaign setup processes.

Simplifies campaign management: Advertisers can layer additional Amazon DSP targeting and settings on the Amazon Freevee preferred deal and add other first-party and third-party deals on the same line item. This simplifies campaign management by enabling advertisers to manage spend and run cross-channel tactics across Amazon Freevee, Twitch, Fire TV Channels, and third-party inventory from Amazon Publisher Direct with unified reporting and measurement.

Helps negotiations and deal buying by offering off-the-shelf deals: One-to-many deals enable publishers to create ready to use off-the-shelf deals that multiple advertisers can use.
