Product collections overview

Brand Stores can help you build an immersive space where shoppers discover your products and brand story. Product collections make browsing effortless and intuitive by organizing items naturally—by category, shopping interest, new product lines, or seasonal themes.

Each collection showcases a lifestyle image that presents your products in real-world settings paired with a title and optional description to highlight themes and product benefits to customers. The display stays current by automatically hiding out-of-stock items. With up to five collections per page and 60 products per collection, you can create focused groups that guide shoppers to relevant discoveries.

Here are the key benefits of Brand Store product collections:

  • Simplify product discovery with up to 60 items per collection
  • Create up to five unique collections on each page
  • Maintain a current display with automatic out-of-stock item hiding
  • Engage shoppers with lifestyle images, titles, and descriptions
  • Streamline setup with AI-powered creative tools

Option 2: Use AI to only create your lifestyle image showing your product in real-life settings

Alternatively, use AI to create your images while keeping manual control of your text. Instead of choosing "Generate text and images with AI":

  1. Go to “Add new section” and select the “Product collection” tile.
  2. Select "Generate images using AI" in the image section.
  3. Choose one product with a transparent background.
  4. Review the generated image and optional description. Resize and reposition the product as needed.
  5. Click "Save changes" then "Add image."
    • Pro tip: After selecting your desired AI image, click "Save to creative assets." This will allow you to use it across your Brand Store in any image tile. Select "Choose from creative assets" and your AI image will be available there.
  6. Add a title and description for your collection. The description is optional.
  7. Choose up to 60 products maximum (we recommend fewer products for focused customer attention) and click the “Hide out of stock products” option.
  8. Customize your layout and submit for publishing.

Quick tips to keep in mind while creating product collections on Brand Stores

  1. Use the image to summarize your collection: Your collection’s image should help shoppers understand what your collection includes. Avoid using images that may be difficult for shoppers to understand, and ensure each image will work well on mobile. Utilizing fresh, high-quality images is a great way to earn shoppers’ trust and communicate more about your brand’s values. Utilize AI for image enhancement and guideline compliance.
  2. Write your text in sentence case: Make sure your collection title and description use sentence case, meaning only the first letter and proper nouns are capitalized. Avoid using title case, camel case, or all lowercase. Utilize AI assistance for copywriting and inspiration.
  3. Focus on a benefit: Highlight the benefits and features that make your brand unique and valuable. Avoid repeating product titles, and omit your brand name and words like “shop” or “collection.”
  4. Only use general promotional language: Claims such as “Best seller,” “Exclusives,” or “Top rated” in the product collection title are not permitted. Additionally, the product collection title must not include messaging about deals, discounts, or savings such as “today only,” “hurry,” “20% off,” or references related to “Amazon deals.”
  5. Keep products shoppable: Click the “Hide out of stock” products option to ensure only buyable products are discoverable by shoppers. Products that can't be bought or pre-ordered won't show

Five ways you can use the product collection tiles to help drive sales

  1. Create collections for deals: Shoppers often explore Amazon for the latest deals. Whether key deals are seasonal or leading up to a major shopping event, putting them in a collection can be a great way to engage with shoppers. Manually add all products or a specific set of products with deals to a new collection, which can be featured on Brand Stores or a dedicated deals page. However, make sure to review our ad policy, since the collection title and text cannot directly mention deals.
  2. Highlight your catalog’s diversity: If you have products that span different categories or styles, reduce shopper friction by creating collections that focus on specific product sets. This can help shoppers consider multiple products from your brand without having to scroll through content that may not be relevant to them.
  3. Group products by interest: Using dedicated collections to highlight complementary products based on shopping interest can inspire audiences and encourage more engagement with Brand Stores. For each collection, you can also use a lifestyle image to showcase your products in action. Learn more about specific creative requirements in our ad policy guidelines.
  4. Feature new arrivals: Promote the newest products in your catalog to reengage returning audiences and educate first-time shoppers on what your brand has to offer. A collection of new arrivals lets shoppers know that your brand is growing and that Brand Stores are the place to find the latest offers.
  5. Promote best sellers: Similar to featuring deals, featuring a collection of best-selling products on Brand Stores can encourage visitors to use features like quick look and the add-to-cart button, which could help increase your sales and boost return visits.

Product collections will be moderated to ensure the individual content meets policy standards and ensure all the elements in a collection are logically related. To learn more about moderation policies for product collection, review our content acceptance policy.
