Sponsored Brands ads are now available for authors in Canada and Australia

What launched?
Authors in Canada and Australia can now engage readers by creating Sponsored Brands ads with custom image and video ads. Create an engaging video ad that brings your story to life and captures readers’ attention or create a product collection ad with custom image ad that represents your author brand, theme of your books, or storyline of a series.
Note: You must have three or more books under a single pen name claimed in Author Central to launch a Sponsored Brands campaign. To claim your books or pen name in Author Central follow the steps listed here.
Authors can now create Product Collection ads with custom image and Video ads to engage their audience and bring their story to life.
Why is it important?
Sponsored Brands ads help increase the visibility of your books and build awareness around you, as an author. Sponsored Brands ads allow you to tell your story the way you want and reach readers at the right time and place. These ads may appear in a few places, including:
- Top of shopping results
- Within shopping results
- On product detail pages (these are the pages a shopper sees after clicking on a specific item)
Book advertisers using a custom image in their Sponsored Brands ads saw an average 48% higher click-through rate on mobile compared to advertisers who only used product images.1
