Amazon Ads launches a smart cropping tool within the Creative Library to give advertisers more control over where custom creatives are centered across all ad placements. Setting a single focal point with smart cropper for your image ensures the image fits in the placements available through different ad products like Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands, helping advertisers save time when creating campaigns with custom creatives.
Why is it important?
Advertisers can tell their own unique product or brand story to help drive performance by using custom creatives (image, headline, logo) using their own visual language with ads that can still serve on up to 12,000 different size variations wherever they spend time. Smart cropper makes this process even easier across ad products like Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands by making sure the key focal point of the image is highlighted. Smart cropper simplifies the process of adding custom creatives so advertisers don’t need to spend time and energy on cropping for square or rectangle images.
