November 13, 2024

What launched?

Amazon Ads Status provides all advertisers with the latest status information on Amazon Ads services like campaign creation/management, bulk operations, ad delivery, and reporting on Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, Brand Content and Amazon Marketing Stream. With the ‘History’ page, advertisers can now review communications and status updates shared by Amazon Ads, spanning the past 6 months. This launch reinforces our commitment to fostering trust and transparency with our advertisers, giving you the insights needed to make informed decisions. In addition we now offer language switcher on Ads Status page providing users with the ability to choose from a list of available languages to view the status message.

Why is it important?

Since its launch in 2023, Amazon Ads Status has been the primary channel for communicating with advertisers during key events. However, until now, it lacked a history page - a vital tool for tracking past incidents. Understanding history is crucial as it offers visibility and transparency, shedding light on past incidents and the actions taken in response. The new History page complements our near real-time status updates, ensuring advertisers have a comprehensive view of past events. History feature is particularly valuable when live updates are missed, allowing advertisers to take informed actions based on a clear understanding of previous incidents. As for language switcher, till now all status messages on Amazon Ads Status were available only in English. Now, users can change their language and save it for future visits to view current or historic message in their preferred language.
