Alexa is now available as a new supply source for Standard display and AAP-mobile app

What launched?

Amazon Ads launched Alexa as a Standard Display and AAP - Mobile App supply source in Amazon DSP. Advertisers who sell on Amazon will now see Alexa as an additional inventory supply that is checked by default for all line item types: Amazon Mobile Display, Standard Display and AAP - Mobile App. Amazon DSP self-service advertisers utilizing Responsive eCommerce (REC) creative templates will have the opportunity to reach incremental customers seamlessly.

Why is it important?

Following the successful launch of Alexa supply on Amazon Mobile Display line items, we are bringing the supply to all remaining line item types. Ads will seamlessly extend to the Alexa Home Screen display ad on eligible Echo Show devices, requiring no modification during campaign creation, assuming all other requirements are met. This allows advertisers to connect with several relevant customers within their connected homes, driving brand awareness as well as performance objectives.
