Real-time interactive forecasting widget available for PMP display deals

What’s been launched?

When booking a standard display or AAP mobile app line in Amazon DSP and utilising Private Marketplace (PMP) deals as the supply, self-service NA and EU advertisers can view available impressions and spend that matches their requirement via the real-time interactive forecasting widget.

Why is it important?

Prior to this launch, impression inventory forecasts for PMP deals were provided via the forecasting page. The workflow to view the forecast required the advertiser to select their line targeting settings, then navigate to a separate page to view the forecasted results which could take 20+ seconds to generate results. If they were dissatisfied with the forecast results, they looped between the line page and forecast page to make adjustments. The end results was an overall increase in booking workflow time and a tedious experience. To improve this experience, Amazon Ads designed the interactive forecasting widget to appear on the right hand side of the line item page. As advertisers adjust their line settings within the new widget, they are able to immediately view the impact to impressions and available spend and thus increasing visibility and reducing booking workflow time.
