Add-to-basket and new-to-brand – detail page view metrics are available globally now via SD and SB API reports

What’s launched?

You can now access add-to-basket and new-to-brand - detail page view metrics through the Amazon Ads API for Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands. The add-to-basket metric reports the number of times shoppers added a brand's products to their basket, attributed to an ad view or click. The new-to-brand – detail page view metric reports the number of new detail page views from shoppers who have not previously viewed a detail page in the past 365 days with an ASIN of the same brand.

Why is it important?

New-to-brand – detail page views, and add-to-basket metrics help advertisers understand the measurable impact of Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands campaigns in driving shoppers’ consideration for the brand. Advertisers can use these insights to make decisions about campaign optimisation and budget allocation.
