Launching author pages as landing pages for Sponsored Brands ads

What’s launched?
Sponsored Brands ads allow you to create video ads or custom image creatives that help bring your story to life and capture readers’ attention as they browse and discover books on Amazon.
Previously, when readers clicked on Sponsored Brands ads, they were directed to a custom landing page showcasing the books featured in the ad. Now, you can direct readers to your author page instead, which can help you drive engagement and build your author brand. This option is available for both videoand product collection ad formats.
Add author page as landing page for your Sponsored Brands campaigns and drive engagement with your readers
Why is it important?
We recommend using author page as landing page as it enables you to -
- Introduce yourself to readers by adding an author photo and bio.
- Showcase all of your books in one place.
- Build an engaged community of loyal readers: Readers can follow you by clicking on the Follow button on your author page to get new release updates, special offers and improved recommendations.
To direct readers to your author page, follow these steps:
- Create a new Sponsored Brands campaign in the campaign builder.
- Scroll down to the ad format section.
- Under landing page, select the author page option.
Note: At this time, existing campaigns cannot be edited to link to your author page.
