Reach and engage with customers through Echo Show devices via Alexa Home Screen Display

Amazon Ads launched Alexa Home Screen (AHS) display ads earlier this year, making this ad placement available to entertainment advertisers in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. This ad experience on Echo Show exclusively focuses on supporting video entertainment content with a “Watch Trailer” and “Play Video” call-to-action (CTA) through voice or touch. Display ads on AHS appear full-screen and in rotation with other content (e.g. recipes, sports, news, weather, etc.) on the Echo Show ambient screen. When Echo Show users tap or say “Alexa, watch trailer” or “Alexa, play video”, the video plays full screen, and after the video is completed, the customer is returned to the home experience. Advertisers can run Alexa Home Screen display ads via two offerings:

• Share of Voice (SOV)
• Rotational

Amazon Ads is enabling advertisers to reach new customers in the home by expanding our device display ad experiences to Alexa-enabled devices, with a full–screen, prominent voice enabled placement. The Alexa home screen display is built from the ground up with voice in mind, helps customers discover new content and allows for further engagement with the ability to stream video. Echo Show devices are also communal and accessible – used by the whole household and typically located in high density areas of the home (living room, kitchen, etc.). This gives brands more opportunities to seamlessly connect with customers and help improve convenience and efficiencies in their daily lives.
