Inline Video

The Inline Video enables advertisers to promote trailers or video ads across IMDb, including on desktop, mobile web browsers, and on the IMDb iOS and Android apps. The video auto-plays muted for up to three minutes, and plays with sound on user initiation. The Inline Video includes a headline and sub-headline for messaging, a call-to-action, and optional title poster, providing an organic, integrated experience with the look and feel of site content.

Inline Video

Placement: Below-the-fold on name and title pages on desktop, mobile web browsers, and on the IMDb iOS and Android apps.
Dimensions: 16:9 aspect ratio video. Full unit size varies by device dimension.
Restrictions: Auto-play video is muted; plays with sound on user initiation. Limited preset CTA options (see asset deliverables section). Only one date message allowed.

For Inline Video ads featuring a film or show title, the poster image can be included for trailer videos. The poster pulls directly from the IMDb title page, and links to the title page when clicked.

Production Timeline

IMDb Ad Production Timelines account for the number of business days it will take to produce an ad unit. This does not account for other phases of the campaign setup, such as IO approvals and booking. All timelines begin when design assets are received and approved by IMDb, and end when the ad unit is live on IMDb properties.
