In-Store Guidelines

Ads must:

  • Contain a “Sponsored” label in the creative (WFM only)

Ads must not:

  • Feature sound/audio. Creatives must be capable of being understood without audio
  • Distract customers by featuring flashing, blinking or pulsating objects, images, or text, frequent or fast contrast transitions, or excessive animation
  • Contain low-quality images that are blurry or distorted, low-resolution, pixelated, smudged or stretched
  • Promote the sale of products that are not available in store or are out-of-stock
  • Include legal claims or disclaimers within co-branded ad units.
  • Include Trademark symbols (TM or R) on 3P stand-alone logos
  • Mention Whole Foods Market or use of Whole Foods Market trademarks without explicit permission from Whole Foods Market.

  • Keep key messaging within a safe zone (center 80% of the screen)
  • Use large, legible fonts for in-store readability
