Goals

BermudAir, a mid-size carrier in the travel and hospitality space, wanted to grow bookings on key routes saturated with well-known airlines. They had built a strong brand presence and a loyal customer base but recognised that their media channels were operating in silos, limiting their ability to connect with customers across the full journey. Their attribution model relied on last-touch measurement, which consistently undervalued upper-funnel investments in streaming TV ads, online video ads and display ads, making it difficult to justify scaling those channels even when early indicators suggested they were working.

BermudAir wanted to prove that a connected, full-funnel approach could drive measurable bookings, not just awareness. They set a clear goal: achieve a return on ad spend (ROAS) of at least three while significantly reducing cost per acquisition (CPA). Proving ROAS across the full funnel meant unlocking budget to expand into new regions and grow more effectively in the travel space.

They partnered with DrivePG, an Amazon Ads advanced partner specialising in integrated media and full-funnel strategies. Although BermudAir doesn't sell on the Amazon store, they wanted to leverage Amazon Ads solutions for access to rich audience insights and to reach travellers on premium inventory like Prime Video and Fire TV, building a unified approach that would connect every touchpoint into one cohesive customer journey and set the foundation for their next phase of growth.

Approach

DrivePG implemented an audience-first strategy that unified streaming TV ads, online video ads and display ads into a single, connected customer journey through Amazon DSP. Rather than running each channel independently, DrivePG designed a sequenced approach where each format reinforced the next: building awareness through streaming TV ads on premium inventory including Prime Video and Fire TV, deepening engagement with online video ads and driving action with display ads. This connected structure ensured that audiences moved through the funnel with consistent messaging at every stage.

At the core of the strategy was Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), which DrivePG used to shift from last-touch to multi-touch attribution. AMC enabled the team to measure cross-channel impact, understand conversion paths and identify which audience segments were most responsive across the full funnel. These insights informed real-time optimisations over the course of four months, allowing DrivePG to continuously allocate budget toward the highest-performing paths to conversion. DrivePG also leveraged Performance+ to automate delivery optimisation, ensuring every impression contributed to the connected journey rather than operating in isolation.

Results

The campaign exceeded every goal BermudAir set. DrivePG delivered a ROAS of six, doubling their goal of three.1 Cost per acquisition came in at $1.11, outperforming their goal by 94%.2 Most notably, audiences exposed to all three channels streaming TV ads, online video ads and display ads, converted at 17 times the rate of those reached by a single channel.3 This multi-channel lift validated the sequenced approach and proved that each touchpoint contributed meaningfully to the final booking.

These results demonstrated that upper-funnel channels drive bookings, not just awareness. The multi-touch attribution insights from Amazon Marketing Cloud gave BermudAir clear visibility into how each channel contributed to the final conversion: something their previous last-touch model could never provide. By proving the measurable impact of a connected full-funnel approach, DrivePG gave BermudAir the confidence to continue investing across the entire funnel rather than retreating to last-click tactics. The campaign established a scalable framework that BermudAir can build on as they expand into new chapters.
