Launch announcement
New delivery metrics: Order-Level Delivery Rate and Budget at Risk
28 September 2023
What’s launched?
We’ve launched two order-level delivery metrics: Delivery Rate and Budget at Risk.
Delivery Rate is the rate at which the order is spending money relative to its budget and progress in the current flight. This rate is capped at 100% as an order never spends more than its budget. Budget at Risk is the amount of budget that may remain unspent if the current spending pattern continues through the end of the flight.
Delivery Rate and Budget at Risk are available in the Advertiser-Orders and Entity-Orders tables. Delivery Rate is also available on Order-Line Items and Order Settings pages. Both metrics are available starting day two of the flight and are calculated multiple times throughout the day. Delivery Rate and Budget at Risk are not yet available for impression-based orders.

Why is it important?
Delivery Rate identifies the current state of delivery and surfaces potential risk of under-delivery early. Budget at Risk lets advertisers know how much budget would be at risk if an order is projected to under-deliver and alerts them to take action.
