What’s launched?

Advertisers globally can now apply frequency groups or frequency capping settings at the order and line item level for programmatic guaranteed (PG) deals from Google AdX and Amazon Publisher Direct.

Customers will see if a PG deal supports frequency capping when viewing the deal settings:

“Delivery” section

In the “Delivery” section of the line item settings, customers can specify a frequency cap setting for the line item:

Why is it important?

Frequency capping for programmatic guaranteed allows customers to apply their frequency capping strategy across their non-guaranteed and guaranteed buys. By doing so, customers can reduce the amount of unnecessary ad exposures to end users.
