Launch announcement

Amazon expands designated market areas (DMA) and budget limits for local campaigns

13 April 2023

What’s launched?

We expanded the limits for designated market area (DMA) selection and line item budgets for the Streaming TV (STV) local value reach, and STV local premium reach products. As a result, local advertisers can increase their reach, which is particularly important for emerging businesses to match their growth needs.

Why is it important?

Before, Amazon STV local ad products had a geographic limit and a budget cap aiming to serve the needs of hyper-local small and medium business (SMB). This release unblocks emerging local advertisers by allowing them to reach more market areas and increase their budgets to expand their reach accordingly to their growth.

Where is the feature available?

Who can use it?
