Alexa+ tests product discovery through conversational AI

What launched?

Sponsored products campaigns will now be automatically integrated into shopping conversations when customers chat with Alexa+ about products. Customers can discover relevant products when asking Alexa for product recommendations, receiving a mix of organic and sponsored options. Advertisers with active Sponsored Products campaigns may be eligible to appear on Alexa+ as part of Amazon's expanded advertising surfaces, helping you connect with customers wherever they shop on Amazon with no additional requirements. Performance metrics will be consolidated within existing reporting dashboards. At this time, Sponsored Products on Alexa+ is only available on the Echo Show. Following the exciting announcement about Alexa+ our next-generation conversational AI assistant, Alexa+ brings a more natural, context-aware conversation experience to users, and this opens up new opportunities for advertisers to engage with customers during their shopping journey.
