Don’t drop the ball: Check out the newly released NBA on Prime schedule

The NBA on Prime is almost here. This week, the NBA announced its 2025–26 regular season schedule, including more than 60 regular season games on Prime Video, highlighted by an opening week doubleheader, NBA Cup action, a Black Friday doubleheader, and much more. Plus, NBA on Prime will feature exclusive playoff action, including the NBA Play-In Tournament and select first- and second-round matchups.
The inaugural season of NBA on Prime tips off with an opening-week doubleheader on October 24. The Boston Celtics visit the New York Knicks (7:30 p.m. ET), and the Los Angeles Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves (10 p.m. ET) in two NBA playoffs rematches. Pregame coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET.
Inaugural NBA on Prime slate features must-watch matchups
The 2025-26 NBA on Prime schedule is loaded with must-watch games throughout the regular season.
Beginning on October 31, Prime Video will stream five consecutive Friday-night doubleheaders of the Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Group Play games, wrapping up the day after Thanksgiving with a Black Friday doubleheader on November 28. The Emirates NBA Cup 2025 quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship will also stream on Prime Video from December 9–16.
Iconic NBA rivals will meet when the Celtics host the Lakers on Dec. 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by No. 1 Pick Cooper Flagg and the Mavericks traveling to Oklahoma City to take on 2024-25 NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the defending champion Thunder at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Thunder will appear in 10 games on Prime, including twice against the rival Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 19 and Jan. 29, and in an NBA Finals rematch against the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 23. In addition to the Thunder, the Lakers, Knicks and Warriors will also make 10 appearances each on Prime this season. The Houston Rockets with new offseason acquisition Kevin Durant are scheduled to appear seven times this season on Prime, as will the Celtics and Anthony Edwards-led Timberwolves. The Mavericks will appear five times, including two games against their former star Luka Dončić and the Lakers, on Nov. 28 and Feb. 12 in Los Angeles. On April 9, Prime is home to the final Lakers-Warriors game of the regular season, as LeBron James and Steph Curry's historic NBA on-court rivalry continues.

Prime delivering NBA action worldwide
As announced last year, Prime Video will distribute its package of games in the U.S. and internationally, with an expanded package of games in select territories, including Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. This expanded international package includes a minimum of 20 additional primetime regular season games each year, a Conference Finals series each year, and the NBA Finals in six of the 11 years.
The international live game package rights extend worldwide, with the exception of Greater China, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands, with rights in Canada beginning in the 2026–27 NBA season.
NBA League Pass enhances advertising opportunities
New in 2025, Prime Video Channels will be the strategic partner and third-party global channels store destination for NBA League Pass, the NBA’s subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games in the U.S. and internationally.
