When is Prime Day? The shopping event of the summer is back.

Amazon has announced the official event dates for Prime Day 2022, which takes place July 12 and 13. Your brand can start prepping now for one of Amazon’s biggest shopping events, since Prime Day can be a beneficial time for advertising optimization, engaging audiences, and highlighting deals.

Prime Day will last for 48 hours in 2022, and it will bring shopping deals to more than 200 million paid Prime members across the globe.1 If last year is any indication, the event this year will be huge: Prime members purchased more than 250 million items worldwide during Prime Day 2021.2

Now is a great time to start setting up your ad strategies to reach customers as they start researching products and brands before Prime Day. In a recent Kantar survey, 71% of shoppers said they discovered new brands in the lead-up to Prime Day.3
