Sponsored Products has a full-featured Campaign Manager to manage advertising campaigns; however, you can save time and optimize large sets of campaigns using our application programming interface (API).
The API allows you to programmatically manage Sponsored Products campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, bids, and budgets. In addition, detailed reporting allows you to pull performance data to analyze sales and investments.
Third-party applications can also manage Sponsored Products campaigns on behalf of professional sellers.

Are there any costs involved?
No, there are no fees associated with using the API. (Fees for the required Selling on Amazon account and the Click costs for using Sponsored Products apply).
I am a seller and I don’t have experience using APIs. How can I perform bulk changes to my Sponsored Products campaigns?
- If you are using a third-party solution to manage your Selling on Amazon inventory, order, and pricing information, or are using an agency to manage your online advertising, we recommend to work with your partner and ask if they offer Sponsored Products in their solution. The API is currently available to solution providers and advertising agencies in North America and Europe.
- Alternatively, you can use the bulk operations feature in the Sponsored Products Campaign Manager. To access the bulk operations feature, sign in to Seller Central in North America or in Europe and go to Advertising > Campaign Manager.
Will I be charged for ads that show on Amazon while testing the API?
We offer an environment for development and testing purposes. Ads created in this environment will not show on Amazon, and therefore, no charges will apply.
